Newsletter #417 - Bunkers and Billboards

Hey Shitcoiners,

‍

Another week down means a fresh delivery of premium crypto-related content! Hot off the press is the news that Netflix has a new show.

‍

Oh boy.

‍

Never forget.

‍

Speaking of series, Gabriel teased a trailer for another crypto TV show. Was it real?

‍

It’s real.

‍

Justin Drake caused some heated discussion as he urged the industry to plan for “bunker mode”. Reactions were mixed.

‍

The hot takes were everywhere.

‍

‍

While some prepped, others were busy networking in Singapore at TOKEN2049. This year saw hot competition for outfit ad placement. The timeline had plenty to say about Vanshika’s ironing, but say what you will, she generated millions of impressions.

‍

Her main competitor Riri did pretty well too.

‍

Word on the street is official afterparty tickets will set you back a few hundred dollars. Fortunately for you, many other fine Singaporean establishments are ready to welcome you. Scott with the alpha.

‍

Finding love at Scott’s recommended afterparty may be tricky, so Halloween has gone for a more wholesome approach.

‍

Halloween 2008, here’s a glimpse into your future. Excellent treasury management from Mrs. Ferrante.

‍

Do not plug your phone in at the KTV. Better safe than sorry!

‍

Zach is not one for conferences. He has important detective work to do instead. 0x007 has done it again.

‍

October 5th marked a monumental day in the prophecy. And now we pray.

‍

Bullish.

‍

Are you loading up the truck, anon?

‍

Taiki is. He might never stop winning.

‍

But for every winning trade, there are countless losers. Wassie is waiting for the mention. Ooft.

‍

It doesn’t seem that long ago that we were seeing endless hype around Blast. The L2 is winding down. RIP.

‍

The pleasure was all theirs.

‍

Also blasted from behind is anyone bidding on pump.fun tokens. The state of this industry is something else.

‍

This next one hit new levels of cringe. Yes, working on agentic payments beats winning a Nobel Prize. /s

‍

And that’s all for this week!
