#61 - A Libra, A Trader & The Magical Crypto Friends
Different week, same old shenanigans. In this week’s newsletter we have updates on Libra, Tone’s maxi credentials questioned and you guessed it, some Craig Wright action.
We love a lil' CSW drama.
To kick things off we have the latest episode of A Game of Shitcoins to share with you. Last week we welcomed Austin Alexander of Kraken to go head-to-head with Andreas. The “who wore it better” round was a particular highlight. Watch it here.
And if you are interested in learning a little more about Andreas check out his latest appearance on the “Humans of Bitcoin” podcast. Oh boy is it a good listen.
After a quiet few weeks on all things Libra it came back into the fold last week.
The pullouts came after some pretty heavy regulatory pressure.
To round things off for Facebook they were sued for copyright infringement on the Libra logo. Not a good week for Zucks et al.
Meanwhile Tone wasn’t having such a good week either. The topless trader extraordinaire (that man loves getting his shirt off) set out his intention to go on stage with CSW.
Many Bitcoin personalities were not impressed.
Tone made a funny. Fluffypony jumped to the aid of his Magical Crypto Friend refuting Tone’s claims.
But Tone was digging deep. With nowhere to go the back-and-forth intensified.
If you’re interested in learning more about CSW, his claims and a whole lot of mentions in a court of law, here you go.
Now to some other news. Last week was Devcon5! Coin Jazeera claimed the hurricane was an attempt from god to rid the world of the Ethereum community.
At Shitcoin.com we couldn’t live with that. Who would we learn out dance moves from for the annual Christmas party?
SideShift AI was doing important work at Devcon5, scanning the attendees for AI qualities. The AI hit the jackpot.
Meanwhile, the Tether sceptics were out in full force as always.
And we recommend you give this a listen. An intriguing take on the OneCoin story. Where the hell did Dr. Ruja go?
To round this one off…
Till next time!
