Shitcoin Newsletter #130 - Digital Art & Apes
Before we dive into the action here’s a reminder that the Shitcoin.com Show is back on YouTube! Catch this week’s episode below and stay tuned for more guests in the coming weeks.
Now to some highlights from the last seven days. It was all about NFTs. From million dollar sales to cats on the moon. It got pretty weird. The biggest sale to date was Beeple’s “EVERYDAYS”, the first NFT ever offered on Christies. This bad boy sold for $69.3 million.
In a fun twist, as you would expect Justin Sun was trying to bid. Turns out the website wouldn’t work and take his $70m bid which would have won it. Marketing opportunity missed!
Meanwhile here’s Justin bidding on more things. Turns out he’s really into buying insanely priced NFTs.
Was this Justin too? We hope so…
While all of this was going down Mooncats emerged. This early NFT project, supposedly the 2nd oldest NFT project on Ethereum, started gaining traction.
It later emerged they were in fact older than CryptoKitties!
And they were all snapped up pretty quickly.
Meanwhile, one guy is writing Elvish for pay. Unsure who would want that but who are we to argue? He mentioned NFTs too. Guaranteed to be onto a winner.
Here’s a warning from Bitlord.
And a glimpse into a weird future from Caitlyn Jenner.
Now enough NFTs. Let’s move on to some apes and Bitcoin action. Alex Wice is getting less rekt due to bulltard tweets.
And Andreas bought some of his merch! Represent.
If memes are your thing (they are ours) then check out this masterpiece from CryptoChimp.
Cobie here with the facts. Most of Binance users are going to be shaken the fuck out.
Also worth keeping in mind the value of your organs. Is this a solid way to source capital?
If selling your organs isn’t a sign of your desperation for Bitcoin, here’s another sign that you’re in too deep.
Here’s an announcement for you. We are happy to report that religious figures are getting in on crypto.
The ECB should take some notes and avoid the cuck-life.
Now to a very important question.
And a very important announcement. You should not buy your COVID vaccine on the dark web… especially when darknet markets don’t want anything to do with them.
Speaking of viruses, here’s the latest from Brad.
We round this one off with a couple of great tweets. First up, Bruce dropped some DeFi knowledge bombs a while ago, does this still hold up?
Plus a retro meme for you… the thread is full of spice. Well worth a click.
